What to Expect
Our Sunday mornings begin with Bible Study Groups at 9:00 am for every age and stage of life, from infants to senior adults. These groups are a great way to build community, study God’s Word, and get connected at First Odessa.
Worship begins at 10:30 am and typically concludes around 11:45 am–12:00 pm. During the service, you can expect a welcoming atmosphere and a meaningful time of worship featuring a blend of contemporary and traditional music led by our worship team and choir.

What should I wear?
Come dressed in whatever makes you feel comfortable! At First Odessa, you will see everything from jeans and t-shirts to dresses, sport coats, and even Hawaiian shirts during the hotter months (it is West Texas after all!) No matter your style, you are welcome here just as you are.
Where should I park?
Parking is located between our Main Campus building and Odessa City Hall, across 7th street by First Odessa Español, and additional parking across 8th street by the ECISD offices. Don't worry, we will be there with our golf cart ministry ready to drive you right up to our door!
Where do my children go during service?
We offer age-specific environments for children from birth through 5th grade during our 9:00 am Bible Study Groups. Preschoolers and elementary students can enjoy Bible teaching, hands-on activities, and community in our safe, welcoming spaces designed just for them. Check-in is required for all children (birth–5th grade).
During the 10:30 am worship service, we encourage children to worship with their families. We also offer Wiggle Worship for babies through PreK during the service, and “Big Church Bags” with quiet activities for children ages 4 years through 2nd grade.

We do not currently offer live Spanish translation at our main campus. However, we would love to invite you to join First Odessa Español, a dedicated Spanish-speaking congregation with worship services and ministry opportunities designed for the Spanish-speaking community.
