Prayers and Squares is a caring ministry dedicated to providing comfort through prayer and handmade quilts. Our team sews vibrant quilts while praying for each recipient. When a quilt is requested, members of various church groups are invited to pray specifically for that individual and tie a knot in the quilt as a symbol of their prayer. By the time the quilt is completed, it contains many knots, each representing a prayer offered on the recipient's behalf. When the quilt is presented, the recipient can wrap themselves in its warmth and be reminded that they have been surrounded by prayer and lifted up to our loving Lord.
We are always looking for new volunteers to join our ministry. Whether you enjoy sewing, praying, cutting fabric, tying knots, or simply helping where needed, there is a place for you on our team.
