Make plans to join us as we celebrate the United States of America's 250th Birthday featuring Evangelist Tim Lee.

About Tim Lee

Tim Lee was born on July 5, 1950, to John and Wanda Lee in McLeansboro, Illinois. He joined the Marine Corps in 1969 and, in March of 1971, lost both of his legs after stepping on a landmine in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. Returning home with a deep spiritual conviction, Tim made the life-changing decision to dedicate his platform to proclaiming the Gospel.

After serving as a pastor for five years in southern Illinois, he surrendered to full-time evangelism in 1979. Since then, his ministry has reached countless people through churches, radio, and television.

Tim was honored to serve at the request of President Ronald Reagan on the Bicentennial Committee for the 200th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution. He has been recognized by the United States Marine Corps, the Department of the Army, the Department of the Navy, and numerous state and local governments. Additionally, he served as the Co-Chair of the national committee of Veterans for Cruz and has been a contributor on Fox News.

Tim has written two books and serves on the Board of Trustees of Liberty University, a position he has held since 1991. He is also on the board of directors of Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida. As the President of Tim Lee Ministries, based in Garland, Texas, Tim continues to share the gospel across America.

Tim and his wife, Connie, have been married for over fifty years. They live in Rowlett, Texas, and have three wonderful children—Brian, Jana, and Amber—as well as seven beloved grandchildren. Tim has been awarded six honorary doctorate degrees from institutions including Liberty University, Emmanuel Theological Seminary (India), Trinity Baptist College, and Brewton-Parker College.
